GOINGS ON: NATIONAL STATIONERY SHOW
Seems like May is shaping up to be the busiest of months so far. Last week we opened the Grand Central kiosk and sales have been great. So much help and fabulous merchandising from With Love, From Brooklyn.
Now that’s organized, I’m focusing on my debut at the National Stationery Show at the Jacob Javits Center from May 18-21.
I have a new London design that is being printed on tea towels, totes and aprons. We received the sample last week and I think it’s going to be a top seller.
I’ll keep you updated as we design the booth this week. I’m planning a chalk board wall with plenty of hand lettering in white. There will be the required trip to Ikea and some customizing of furniture.
Finally, last weekend we visited Stone Barns for the sheep shearing festival and got to see my custom designs in their store.
The lambs we saw on our last visit 6 weeks ago were all grown up and ready for the pasture. Seeing them frolick in the grass for the first time was a real joy.
