Goings On: Is it spring yet?

The studio is buzzing with Spring this week even though the view out of my window isn’t. I use this time to collect my thoughts, formulate new ideas and then put all these things into action.
By the end of April I plan on launching and adding some great new products to the Claudia Pearson line; plans that have been bubbling for some time so it’s very exciting to see them finally come into fruition.

To kick start this week, I broke open my watercolor box and Indian ink bottle and loosened up with a variety of bright flowers. In recent years my illustrations have been drawn and not so much painted so this practice of playing in different mediums is very therapeutic.

We also got my long awaited Pickle tea towel back from the printers and now it’s available in the shop.
