Goings On: Spring Projects

As an illustrator you get accustomed to working far in advance on certain projects; illustrations for magazines are completed 3 months before publishing and larger jobs for book publishers and stores are done a year ahead.

This can be both frustrating when you want to share with friends and family but also a pleasant surprise when your work is finally released.

Quite often I forget and then social media sends you a lovely little reminder.

Yesterday was one such day as photos kept popping in to my Instagram feed.

Firstly a delightful set of Savor and Send Recipe Cards I completed for Chronicle Books last year and posted by @twoofakindcooks.

And secondly the return of my dapper dogs just in time for Spring for West Elm.

My first dashing dachshund series came out in Spring 2013 and was received with such enthusiasm that the dogs make a come back every season sporting new outfits and accessories.
